Chess4Europe is the official partner of the European Chess Union located in Slovakia.
As the NGO is eligible to apply for European Union funding programmes and flexible for new cooperation projects and ideas.
Chess4Europe has an ambition to be an innovative leader especially in the scholastic chess area with the focus on global projects like Smart Kids.
Chess4Europe is an independent organisation willing to work with the best, modern and dynamic people coming not only from the chess community.
Martin Huba obtained his Master as an software programmer and later on also as a teacher, worked as trainer, facilitator and consultant in more than 100 projects on four continents. As a former president of the Slovak Chess Federation and an initiator of Chess in School project that reached over 300 elementary schools, has intensive experiences on how to run and promote scholastic chess activities. In the past years he acted as the Treasurer of the European Chess Union and the Chairperson of the Marketing Committee of FIDE, the world chess federation.
He initiated the Smart Kids project and is the President of Chess4Europe.

Radovan Huba is a student and former chess player, who introduced a Chess in Schools project at his school. As a chess trainer he´s organising events and tournaments there.
